DEA Survivors Benefit Fund
Washington DC- September 10, 2022

The DEA Survivors Benefit Fund (DEASBF) announced it received a grant for $30,000.00 from the Motorola Solutions Foundation the charitable arm of the Motorola Solutions.

Through this grant, the DEASBF will be able to continue its support of the families of DEA Special Agents and Task Force Agents killed in the line of duty. This grant will be used exclusively to provide educational assistance to the family members of our heroes lost protecting our country. “Without the generous support of our corporate partner Motorola Solutions, the DEASBF would not be able to fulfil our commitment to the DEA families struck by tragedy”- Richard Crock Chairman DEASBF. The DEASBF is grateful to Motorola Solutions for their continued support of our foundation and its vital mission to support the families who have lost their loved ones to the world’s most violent drug traffickers.

The Motorola Solutions Foundation, which has donated $100 million over the past 10 years, focuses its giving on three key areas: first responder programming, technology and engineering education, and programs that blend the two. The Foundation has a long-standing commitment to supporting programs that benefit underrepresented populations and aims to partner with organizations that align to its values of accountability, innovation, impact, diversity and inclusion.

“The Motorola Solutions Foundation is proud to partner with organizations like the DEA Survivors Benefit Fund that share our values and passion for driving positive change in the community”, said Karem Perez, executive director of the Motorola Solutions Foundation. “We believe in the work that DEASBF is doing and look forward to seeing their continued impact.”
