DynCorp Legal Technician Carrie A. Lenz and her unborn son, Michael James Lenz III, were killed on April 19, 1995, when a car bomb exploded outside the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Mrs. Lenz was working under contract to the Drug Enforcement Administration. At the time of her death Mrs. Lenz was 26 years of age and six months pregnant with Michael James, her first child. An avid outdoorswoman and animal lover, Mrs. Lenz graduated from Moore West High School, Moore, Oklahoma, in 1986, and received a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Central State University, Edmond, Oklahoma, in 1990. She was working on a paralegal degree at Rose State College at the time of her death. Carrie had been employed by DynCorp since July 1991. She is survived by her husband, Michael J. Lenz, Jr. and her mother Doris Jones.
